Behind the Webshop – Meet the Owner

My passion for trading cards began back in 1995, when I received a binder full of hockey cards as a birthday present for my 7th birthday. At the time, Finland was going through a hockey card boom – we traded cards during school breaks, and that same year Finland won its first Ice Hockey World Championship. My favorite player and the one I focused my collection on was clear from the start: Saku Koivu, one of the key players of the national team.

As a teenager, I drifted away from the hobby, but in 2015 I rediscovered my old cards in storage – and the spark returned. For the first time, I also had the means to buy cards, since prices had come down from the peaks of the 90s. At first, I was focused on building my personal collection, but during the pandemic years, my interest in selling cards started to grow.

I’ve been selling cards through Facebook for the past few years, but it’s not the ideal platform. Posts disappear into the feed, and cards are hard to find. I wanted to create a dedicated place where people can always find my cards. My goal with this webshop is to make it easy for both new and experienced collectors to discover and buy the cards they’re looking for—especially those who haven’t yet visited card fairs or joined Facebook groups. I wanted to provide a reliable and accessible entry point into the world of trading cards.

My webshop focuses on selling single cards. I offer customer service in Finnish, Swedish, and English, and I’ve been happily trading internationally for years. With over a decade of experience as a collector, hockey cards are definitely my specialty.

What I enjoy most is helping someone find that one card they’ve been searching for. I know how that feels. That’s why I’m committed to providing fast shipping, friendly service, and a smooth, trustworthy experience every time.

This webshop is a side project for me—a passion and a hobby that I’m proud to share with fellow collectors.
